This property has appeared in many films including 1995’s The American President starring Michael Douglas and Annette Bening; the 1942 film Now, Voyager with Bette Davis, and the little-known gem, Three Smart Girls. Released in 1936, the film’s plot is reminiscent of perennial favorite The Parent Trap, with a plot in which, “Three sisters scheme to reunite their divorced parents before their wealthy father marries a conniving gold digger.” You can view some photos from that film shoot in our Main Lodge lobby.
